Western Union
Complaint 9925 Details

I got this email about collecting money from western union $5000 a day and said "wow what (Inappropriate Content Removed)" and actually sent an email back saying haha good one ect. Anyways, I got another email back saying at least just check westernunion.com and see for yourself if that money is available for pick up or not. Doing so I see that it is available for pick up and call and check and whatnot. Finding out that the money is actually just sitting there and waiting I decided (I'm sure out of greed - or really just out of necessity, I have no job right now, no money AT ALL, and have been looking and trying to get a job or earn money so its a rough time where anything sounded good) go get it. I discover that I had to pay a fee because it was such a large sum of money and so in order to collect the $5000 at western union I had to pay $250. I even talked to western union at this point saying this sounds retarded and normally I am not that stupid, but I guess I didnt really listen to myself on this one. So as I am down at western union waiting and trying to make up my mind I sent the money and asked to collect the money that was there for me. Everything seemed to be going fine and all of a sudden mid transaction it was just unavavilbe now. I knew it should have stuck to my gut feeling so now I am out $250 which I didn't even really have to begin with.
