I ordered a pair of Born "Tembi" black boots, payed thru Paypal. Recieved a confirmation from FREE SHIPPING thanking me for shopping with them. Also received an email from Paypal confirming they sent payment to [email protected]. March 2nd, after emailing Womansfashionstore.com and not hearing back from them as to when my order was going to be shipped I decided to google the site and of course there were several complaints stating that this site was a scam. I contacted Paypal by phone and was assured I would receive a refund. Paypal emailed me and told me the seller's name was hu liu and the email was [email protected]. and that a dispute had been escalated. March 10 I receive an email from Paypal and they said the seller had responded with a tracking number for shipment of the item purchased and they would keep me updated. I requested a Track and Confirm through the USPS to follow the delivery of package. The package was coming from China Peoples Republic. I still had hope that it was the boots I ordered, but had my doubts. March 16 I received a white bubble wrap package approximate 4X6 with chinese writing all over it and what did I find inside other than a kitchen sponge(about .50-$1.00 worth). I immediately contacted Paypal and they said they would look further into the case. March 21 I receive an email from Paypal to return the item to an address in China and to provide Paypal with the shipping information so as to receive my refund. March 23 Paypal emails me they have received the shipping info and will track the return of such item(sponge). I had been told by the clerk at the Post Office that a package coming from China can be tracked, but that one going into China cannot. I had a Declaration number thru the USPS which is what I provided to Paypal. THEN April 5 I receive an email from Paypal stating they have concluded the investigation regarding my case and CANNOT refund my money since they could not confirm delivery of item. So I now feel as though I have been scammed twice. I wonder how people live with themselves doing these kind of things, illegally taking our hard worked for money! And then to trust a company like Paypal and follow all the steps I was asked to do to receive a refund and then get the door slammed in my face again. Please check out any site you may purchase from in the future and as to working with Paypal again, beware, we're not as protected as they say we are.
