ON 7-21-2011 I WAS REFERRED TO CITY AUTO BROKERS BY A SALESMAN BY THE NAME OF JOMO SPEED.
HE PICKED MY UP FROM ANOTHER LOCATION AND TOOK ME TO THE CITY AUTO BROKERS PLACE OF BUSINESS TO LOOK FOR A USE CAR. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THIS COMPANY WAS ABOUT OR THAT IT EVEN EXISTED. I WAS INTRODUCED TO A MR. KENDELL WHO IS THE GENERAL MANAGER OF THE BUSINESS. HE INFORMED ME THAT CITY AUTO BROKER HAD A 2005 PT CRUISER THAT WAS ALL ON THE LOT I COULD AFFORD WITH THE DEPOSIT I HAD TO GIVE. I REQUESTED A CARFAX OR SOME CONCRETE INFORMATION ON THE CAR. ALL I WAS TOLD IS THAT IT WAS A ONE CAR OWNER WHO LOST HER JOB AND HAD TO RETURN THE CAR BECAUSE SHE COULD NOT PAY THE PAYMENTS ON THE CAR BY THE CONTRACT AGREEMENT. AS I BEGIN TO ASK SEVERAL QUESTIONS REGARDING THE CAR I WAS SHIFTED FROM ONE SALESMAN TO ANOTHER VIA: MR. WILLIAM K. CHEESEMAN. HE THAN TRIED TO DISTRACT ME BY ASKING A QUESTION ON MY THOUGHTS OF RELIGION. I RESPECTFULLY ANSWERED BY STATING THAT I DO NOT PARTAKE IN THE DISCUSSION OF RELIGION OR POLITICS. I DID SHARE WITH HIM THAT I AM A HUMAN BEING WHO TRULY BELIEVES THAT YOU DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU. RIGHT IS RIGHT AND WRONG IS WRONG AND WE HAVE TO ANSWER TO A HIGH BEING BELIEVE IT OR NOT GOOD OR BAD. I WAS THEN TAKEN BACK TO MR. KENDELL (THE FIRST SALESMAN AND GENERAL MANAGER OF CITY AUTO BROKERS. AS I BEGAN TO ASK QUESTIONS REGARDING THE CAR I WAS CONSTANTLY CUT OFF AND TOLD I ASK TOO MANY QUESTIONS AND TALK TOO MUCH. I JUST NEED TO LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY SIGN THE PAPERS TO GET THE LOAN APPROVED. I WAS TOLD BY MR. KENDELL THAT HE WOULD PROVIDE ME A MANUFACTUERS WARRENTY AND PAY THE $150.OO TO GET IT STARTED AND I WOULD HAVE TO JUST PAY $50.00 FOR ANY REPAIRS IN THE FUTURE. I ASK ON MORE THAN ONE TIME FOR A CARFAX OR SOMETHING THAT WOULD SHOW THE HISTORY OF THE VEHICLE. MR. KENDELL STATED HE DID NOT HAVE TO GIVE THAT TO ME AND I COULD GET IT MYSELF. I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THE CONTRACT OR FINANCE CONTRACT TO READ OVER BEFOR THE PURCHASE OF THE VEHICLE. I GUESS IT WAS TOO LATE TO GET TO THE FINANCE COMPANY TO DO THE PAPERWORK ON THE CAR SO THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE THE CAR HOME AND GET THE TIRES FIXED BECAUSED THEY WERE UNBALANCED. WHEN I QUESTION THIS THEY JUST STATED THAT I HAD TO TAKE THE CAR TO A BUSINESS THAT WORKS WITH THEM TO DO THE WHEELS. ON 7-22-11 I TOOK THE CAR TO DDS TIRE AND WHEELS @. It was located in Austell, Georgia at 1309 Austell, Ga. After taking the vehicle for the tires to be repaired and balanced. The vehicle still did not run properly. There was no as is sitcker in the window of the car which was another reason why I asked what was going on with the car. I asked again for a carfax and was told that there was nothing wrong with the car. It was a one car owner of a young lady who lost her job and could not afford to keep the car. I was coerced into buying the car only to find that I was being charged $10,000 for the car and 28% financing for 42 months after I signed the contract. I explained to Mr. Kendell and Cheeseman that I had previously told them I was in a Chapter 13 and could not afford the payments and Mr. Kendell stated it will be okay. Now you can hustle to get more money to pay for the car. Then the other salesman Mr. William K. Cheeseman finally went on line in the business office and printed out the car fax which showed a totally different story about the vehicle. Once I saw this information I requested to speak to the owner Mr. Mike Hoge whom I explained that I did not wish to invest in this vehicle because of the false perception I was given regarding the car and the fact that I was pressured into buying the car. I ask the owner if he would consider taking back the loan if I paid to have the damage checked out on the car. Mr. Mike Hoge (owner) stated that if the Auto Finance Company agreed He would buy back the loan. When I called Mr. Hoge on 7-25-11 he stated because I had taken the car off the lot keep it for two days while waiting for him decide if he would take back the loan that he was not going to buy back the loan and accused me of raising my voice to him and hung up on me over the phone. Now I have a vehicle that has several mechanical problems and I cannot afford a car payment of $372.99 dollars a month on a used car that has been disqualified by car fax because of an accident it was in in 2006 which caused unibody damage and the fact I was not told that the car had been used as a rental and lease which put over 50,000 miles on it in less than 6 months. This is considered Auto Fraud, nor did I receive/or have a copy of the emissions on the vehicle and the title. I called the owner Mr. Mike Hoge twice and both times he stated he did not want to speak to me and that it was my car now and I could not bring it back he then hung up on me. This is truly a lesson well learned and all I want is to return the car and get my deposit back. Please help me anyway you can.
