I saw an ad on Kansassuperads.com for teacup yorkie puppies. I inquired about the ad and was emailed back by this [email protected]. I'm not sure how the ad ended up on a KANSAS website, she told me she was originally from GEORGIA but had been relocated for her job at WHO (World Health Organization) to Ankara, TURKEY. She sent me plenty of info and pictures and of course I was interested. She then went on to say that she wanted to give them away, if I would just be able to pay the shipping expenses, $200 for one and $390 for both. She asked for the money via Western Union. I told her that I could just send her a check, that I wasn't comfortable with using Western Union. However, I went against my better judgment and sent her $200 via Western Union. She then proceeded to tell me that she had taken the puppies to the airport and that the airline would email me the flight info. The actual airline never emailed me, but "Pet Air" did. Then telling me that I needed a National Health License and paperwork for the USDA. Neither of which should have been my responsibility. They were asking for $760 and saying that it was 100% refundable. Luckily, I found this site with her email address first and I ended all further communication. I don't understand how people can sleep at night knowing that they scam honest, caring people out of their HONEST, hard earned money. I just hope that people can read this and learn from my mistakes as well. I can't get my money back, I'm just glad I didn't give them anymore!
