I had signed up for Ancestry.com in January and kept getting messages for Archives.com about related information to my searches. I apparently clicked on one of these to see what it contained. I have no memory of agreeing to an ongoing Archives.com membership. I see that I have been billed through autopayment for February and March. I found the location to cancel membership as of today -- but there is NO phone number to reach someone to discuss this with. It appears to be a company piggybacking on Ancestry.com members and duping some of us to additional charges without intent.
