I received an email from Steve Sanders offering me a mystery shopping job. I accepted and was told that they would be sending me two money orders with instructions as to what to do with them. I was out of town when they arrived and when I got back I had a Fed Ex envelope with the two money orders. At that time I was waiting for insurance money for a painting I had done that was damaged and forgot entirely about the mystery shopper. Thinking it was my insurance money ( strange as it was... it was indeed very close to what was owed me) I took them to the bank and deposited them in my account. That was on the 13th. On the 18th I had two charge backs. I went to the bank and while standing there I suddenly remembered the mystery shopper info. Fortunately, I did not follow through so I lost nothing. I then received an email from a John Lechy asking me if I had followed the directions as he had not heard from me. This morning in an attempt to find out who sent the money orders I went to the bank. I thought this was legit until the bank informed me that this was a scam!
