D-con Rodenticides and ICS/ Invent help

My handicapped friend Timothy Traft actually invented the 'D-Con No View No Touch mousetrap'. Here's the facts in 2001, we were all sitting around when we noticed a mouse running around in the garage. His sister is terrified of mice, but didn't want to kill it. I said "didn't Jefferson say the only way to get rich was to build the better mouse trap?" After a few minutes we all decided that the better mouse trap would give you the option not to kill the mouse. So we put our brains to work and came up with the better mouse trap. We even built a protype and tried it several different times in several different places. Tim had to make very few adjustments. The first mouse we actually caught with our mouse trap was killed, trapped in the door, defeating our purpose. We had to adjust the weight that shifted the door shut. But after we did that, our mouse trap worked like a charm. In January of 2002, we submitted our better mouse trap to ICS. Within a few weeks we had paid close to $1000 to ICS to do a patent search and there was no other product like it, anywhere. So then we had to take out loans and second mortages on our homes to come up with over $10,000 for ICS fees to submit for a utlity patent. We did everything ICS advised us to do, paid every fee they requested of us. And in the end we paid out close to $14,000. In July of 2004 we were watching the TV when a commerical came out for D-con's trap using our exact ideal and invention. When we called ICS all they did was denied everything and gave us the run around. ICS took advantage of a handicap man whom all he ever wanted to do was to make a few bucks to help others in need!! Today if you walk in a store there is several rodenticides companies using our invention. As of today we still aren't rich, we are struggling everyday and can't help ourselves let alone anyone else because we have never received a dime for our invention that was stolen from us!!
