I also was interested in mystery shopping. I just joined the Mystery Shoppers network and it was about two weeks later I received this letter from Survey Global Services Inc. The envelope it came in was stamped from Canada which made me a little suspicious but I continued anyway. My letter said RE: Acceptance Letter (Secret Shopper). Congratulation I was accepted to be a representative of their company in my area, I was titled a Consumer Service Evaluator. I was to call and have the check activated before I deposited it. I also had to do two jobs one for Western Union and one at a retail store. I had to wire 1,460.00 to a Charles Doyle in London, England. Once I was done I was to immediately call my Account Manager either a Melissa Stewart or a Robert Newman. I wired the money and then called the number they gave me 1-647-629-4461 to tell one of them it was done when I called the number all I heard was someone breathing on their voicemail. Not professional at all. I had a terrible feeling in my gut but it was to late. Then I thought maybe their mailbox really was just full so the next day I called again and the same thing. It was not until the third day that I finally did get ahold of someone a woman claiming to be Melissa Stewart. I told her the two jobs were done, she wanted the money control number and she told me great she was sending me another job I would receive it this week. Today I found out the check is not real and I am out basically 2000.00, I have tried to contact them but everytime the check is mentioned and I tell them the bank said it was altered they hang up on me.
