I ordered the Who Knew Books on the automated phone service. They were supposed to be shipped free, but after I gave my credit card number, the system wanted me to order more sets of books to get free shipping. They offers went on and on with no way to exit the system or cancel the order. I finally ended up speaking live to someone who was offering a free cruise. I said I just wanted to cancel the original order and be done. That person could not help me. I contacted TeleBrands to cancel the order immediately and was told I could not contact until it was In their system, which I did daily until I was told that the order had already been shipped. They gave me a number to write on the package when it arrived and said to refuse it. I did as directed. My card was charged and weeks after sending the package back there is no refund. The last call I made I was told that my claim had been "escalated" and someone would call within 24-48 hours. No one did and I am still out my money.

  • This comment kept me from buying 6 sets, thanks. I called and kept trying to talk to a real person, but hung up when all they wanted was my credit card info. I'm thankful I hung up and read more, that's when I found this report. Thanks again.
