I too received a call from Key One Solutions today and went through the same rhetoric. The original call came from Arizona and I was switched around a few times supposedly to Florida. I ended up with a Tom Anderson at 1-888-599-7112. I originally thought that this could of been an official government program. Tom, supposedly from Orlando talked fast and seemed sincere but avoided that question and 2 minutes in to the conversation mentioned a $998.95 "rollover". At first it was to come out of the lower rate on credit cards, however as the conversation went on it was to come out of one of my credit cards at it's "current APR". Next he got personal about being a Iraq War Air Force veteran and I responded that I was a Vietnam Marine. He changed the subject and then switched me on to another guy who recorded my conversation.

Having said that and thinking back on today's conversation they were then only concerned with the one card that I was to make this "one-time" payment with.

I was immediately told that a "Financial Success Kit" would be sent to me.
Tom said it would be sent FEDEX in 2 days with a paid return envelope enclosed.

Next I received a call from a Lady that said she was going to send the envelope but I would have to send it back on my own or FAX it. In a moment of weakness and having faith in the system, I consented.

Within one hour I received a call from "Lisa" who put me on a conference call with my credit card company.Telling she would take care of the conversation...Fortunately, the Visa company said my card was frozen because I am on an accelerated lower rate payment plan. Lisa also questioned the credit card company representative at the other end about being associated with Bank of America. The Rep said, "what are you talking about, of course not". Lisa called me back and asked for another card and/or if I want I can use two cards if I don't have the balance to pay the $998.95. I said that I have a Discover Card. She said that she can't accept Discover or AMEX. Thank God!

She called me 2 more times and will call me tomorrow for Card Info...

I called my Credit card company back up that is associated with my bank and discussed this sordid affair and was told that nobody can lower the rate but myself unless I get a legitimate company that can issue a card and consolidate my debt.

This is when I searched the Internet under Key One Solutions and found this website....Any advice since I am in the middle of this scam???

  • Yours was a good report, better than mine. Thank you. I'd certainly not consent to giving them any money! Since they cannot do what they promise, it's a scam, for sure. That they can do it legally, I'm flabbergasted! On the other hand, IS it legal, somehow?
