I just opened a new account with a new bank 2 weeks ago. I called them today to ask a question about my debit card and they said it was in the mail but I wont be able to use it because my account is in the negative...I said, "what are you talking about? How?" They said a check came through for $30.00 and I said thats wierd, i dont remember writing one..."well you did, for $30.00"...I asked who it was written to and they told me - Caprice marketing..I said, I didnt write any check to them, I dont even know who they are. They gave me the phone number to call that was attached to the charge but it said it was recently disconnected when I tried it...Wow! Is there really someone out there called Caprice Marketing or do they just go by this name to fool the banks? Anyone has any info please feel free to email me at (Personal Information Removed) or post here and I will try to find my way back to this. Thanks! Oh..so I only had 25 dollars in the account, that was what I opened it with, my direct deposit is setting up now but because of that charge from CM for $30 my bank charged me 32$ for it.
