I write, with no intention to re-claim my money. However, it is good to have protection for customers. This website set out to be buying good products from China, but with exceptionally low prices. I paid $185.00USD to buy a HXV5 Sony Cybershot camera. It was priced at about $350.00 at that time. According to the website, I should receive my camera (shipped from China) in about one week. Two weeks later, I called; and I've been told the camera was shipped to me, but returned to them because I did not clear with the customer, i.e, pay my tax. I was asked to pay extra $35.00 for re-shipping. In addition, I wrote to them, and they never responded; and the phone number was changed, no where to be contacted.
After working in the business world for a long time, I know the merchandised would not be sending back to the sender, in China after only one week without anyone claiming the product (no request from US custom to pay taxes at all). I knew it is a lie.
After this incident, I've checked this website. It updates quite frequently. From selling electronic products in China, then, some other merchandises; and now, it is something else.
Again, may I stated this: I have no intention to claim my lose of $185.00 (because the money was sent by Western Union, and I don't bother to spend the time to track down someone in China. Though I am a Chinese myself)
However, I write with only one intention. This is a website deliberately set out to cheat customers. My request is this: PLEASE INVESTIGATE BEFORE LOT MORE PEOPLE GET HURT. Thanks!
