It is my fault. I should have googled and checked this guy even before I got in touch with him. I received an email from him about a loan offer, so emailed him back to get more details He emailed back with all details about his loan offer, and I also have his phone numbers and fax numbers, ph. 804-632-8561, 434-835-8622, this one only has his voice mail. I spoke to him on the 804 area code number, and like a fool believed in everything he said and emailed me and applied for a loan of $17,000. first he asked for $652 for application, underwriting and attorney fees. Then he asked for $1700 as down payment, and after that he asked for a wire transfer tax of $920, after which he was supposed to wire the loan amt to me. and then it was too late, because after that he is not answering his phones at all, and there is no money in my account. what i'm afraid of now is that he has my bank accounts information. my concern is will he be able to withdraw funds from my accounts? Is there any way of catching him? Should I call the Seattle police dept and give his address and phone numbers? Will I be able to get my money back?I do have the papers that I downloaded but that's all, and the phones ring and go on voice mail. What an idiot I have been!! I am so much in debt now, borrowed from friends and have to return back to them Can anybody help me at all?
