When my dad suffered a debilitating stroke in Feb. of 2011 my mom tried to get help modifying their current mortgage through myhomesupport.org. They were all over it, telling her to send money and they would start the process. When she told them she could not afford 1500. they even gave her a discount and said just send 900. She had to make that in 3 installments as my dad was the soul provider and was now disabled. I am infuriated that this company preyed on people who were down and out. I would like to know how they received a BBB rating and how HUD gave them a recommendation.Very sad that in this day and age we cannot protect the people who need it most from scams like this.
