ATXPowerSupplies.com sells computer power supplies. I own an HP A1710n (Multimedia Computer). I wanted to increase my computers current power from approx. 330w to 630w using the ATXPowerSupplies.com power supply. Their website specifically identifies my computer by NAME and MODEL NUMBER as one that their product fits. The website does not suggest that the product may fit or that adjustments may be needed to ensure a proper fit.

In all fairness, they do have an return policy that I did not read fully prior to my purchase. I say this to explain I believed ATXPowerSupplies truly knew about the products they sell, and that they valued customer business, and therefore would want to help me find the proper power supply. In fact based on their websites advertising, I was sure what I purchased would fit and work with my system.

After receiving my power supply, a few days after ordering it, I found it DID NOT COME CLOSE TO FITTING MY SYSTEM. The power supply ATXPowerSupplies.com sent me was OBVIOUSLY never designed to fit my system. This company is ACTIVELY PRACTICE FRAUD!!! I make that statement because not only did they fail to apologize for sending a non-fitting product, they never offered an appropriate solution, they just stated send it back for an "exchange" (exchange to what, you already sent the wrong product) or a "refund" (with a 20% return fee!!!)
So, the scam is to put all the promises of proper product on the website and then send whatever, knowing they either made all the money on a poor product on made 20% for doing absolutely NOTHING! ATXPowerSupplies.com is a complete ripoff!
