July 10, 2011 I ordered a Nikon S9100 Digital camera at a price 0f $275.00 from this online vendor. On July 19, 2011 I was contacted by email requesting that I call them to "Further verify your order". I called them and the salesman insisted that my order be changed to include an extended life battery, external charger, and extended replacement warranty, increasing the price to $367.00. I reluctantly agreed.
The shipment was received July 28, 2011. However there was no extended life battery or external charger with the shipment. My Discover card was debited for $367.00.
I immediately called sales and they transferred me to customer service which never answered. I called sales back and was told to call customer service on Monday which I did. No answer. Repeated calls with no answer. Left messages with no return call.
This vendor has evidently used a bait and switch ploy to increase the price and did not even send a substitute item(s). I have subsequently found other like customer complaints on the internet about In Stock Digital.
My suggestion is to avoid any on-line purchases from In Stock Digital.
