I clicked online to my friend's facebook, then I noticed some related search link for advertising (by the side in the face book page): "weight loss" products: HCG Boost & Natural Cleanse. The company offered free trial for 30 days stock to attract people & charged for only $6.95 & $4.95 for the shipping fees of the above 2 items. It required my credit card to make the payment. Also it required personal information like name, phone number, address etc. for the shipping. After the transaction, I tried to go online again to make another purchase,
then popped up a scam message that I was chosen to be the Vancouver winner for a price. Then I felt uncomfortable & suspected that the weight loss advertisement was also a scam.
I called my credit card centre right away & found out that the company charged for the above 2 items was named: greencoffeellc. ll stands for LL, not 11. So I typed the "greencoffee11c", then found there were scam reports on that company. I immediately placed a hold on my visa card. If the transaction was posted, then the credit card centre will investigate. I also blocked the company using my visa card for further fraud transactions.
I report it, hope that people will not go through my experience & cheated by those scams.
