On 3/18/2012 I found a Macaw bird for sale for 250 on oodle.com. I clicked the page for more info on the bird, her name was Marley and she was 8months old then reading more into it she had another bird listed his name was Rico when I was finish reading the paragraph she said she was only charging shipping on the birds and each bird was 150 dollars to ship. I told her I was only interested in buying one bird which was the female and she said okay and told me her reason why she was giving them away she said that she moved from new Orleans to Chicago and the new land lord did not permit pets had she had to keep them in the garage and she said I treat them like my babies so I want to give them a better home and she asked me to tell her about me and my house hold after I told her about me and my home she said great I’m driving to the airport now to reserve there flight and she added both bird’s and I was okay with it until she sent me the email saying I had to pay thro western union I thought to myself that’s fishy because every other ticket me and my family has bought is throw vista on the air flight web site and the email with the web site she sent me looks like a fraud because it had a picture of American air line plane but it was called pet relocate but I googled it and couldn’t find the same site but I still went along with it she said that the money will be sent to the finance center of the company in Cameroon she also sent the name to whom it was for and it was some foreign name I told her to call me and she kept giving me some long number 1143435536 I tried to call it but my phone didn’t allow me to make the call unless I paid for a phone card then she kept sending me numbers and I told I cannot call them she then said try a payphone throughout the whole process she was emailing me through yahoo I asked her how are you able to email me if you’re driving she said she was using her iPod from then I knew it was a scam I told her I will get the birds if she lets me pick the plane she said no it has to be the one I picked I already made reservations and we went back and forth and she told me “OMG YOU THINK IM GOING TO SCAM YOU OUT YOUR MONEY IM A CHIRSTAN WOMEN!” “ IM A GOOD WOMEN I WOULDN’T HURT A FLY””OMG YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I PAID TO GET THEM RESERVATIONS?” and her spelling was all off after her 10th email and she then said okay if you want to pay by card go to money gram and get a pre pay one I told her no I want to pick another plan company so I pay them directly she then asked me how the birds would get there I told her you then she finally agreed for me to pick a flight company after I told her what flight company I wanted she stop emailing after I told her it had to be this company. Thank god I found out it was a scam I kind knew it was too good to be true.
