I apparently signed up for a one week trial use of the company's services. In order to do so I also had to provide my credit card number. I fully expected the company to send me an email confirming my obligations and actions, as well as the company's.

As it turns out I did not use the search services for several days, and by the time I went to use them I had forgotten the website address. I scrutinized my bank statements daily, and only today did the bank representative mind an un-posted (as yet) charge of 39.95. I don't know if that was for a week, a month or six months. So,I asked my bank (Wells-Fargo) to protest the charge. I see by this website comments that many other people have been conned by your company; several of the few complaints I reviewed apparently suffered the same fate as I did. This might be due to deliberate and obscure fine print, but as you are responsible for the "advertisement" I hold you responsible for returning my $39.95.

Might I suggest that you establish a similar trial in which you remind the person the day before it trial expires, rather than he having to rely on his memory. It he (the trial member) does not then provide his authorized cc number, his right to use your databases will be terminated.

Thanking you in advance for your cooperative understanding of my irritation. If you choose to extend my trial period to two weeks starting today (and warning me the time is up), I will better be able to evaluate the usefulness of your data to my requirements.
