Back on Feb 1st 2012..we recieved a call from Luxury Capital Group..we had recieved many other calls regarding selling timeshares and they all seemed the same about listing your timeshare etc...But Luxury Capital had the best "line"of all because they talked about having corporate buyers for your points and that is how they valued your timeshare..We were cautious but called back to get the details...our contact was Beverly Waters(not sure she exist..I think they use alias) but she gave a great sales presentation and I am not sure if it was just a great line or that because I was in a desperate situation(daughters wedding after paying for 3 college tuitions) that because she was so friendly and even mentioned she was dating an NFL player etc that it seemed real....after reviewing the contract(was very generic) we decided to give it a try.....I even begged them if it was a scam, to please just hang up the phone, and we would call it a day after explaining my financial straits....."No, no it is going to all work out"..I was quoted.....well I even stopped the ACH from my bank and called back to explain that I was hesitant because I could not find any information on this company and parent owner lives in Las Vegas etc..For 2nd time...I agreed to proceed...After a few weeks I recieved a phone call on an email I sent seeing how things were progressing..Evan Medow-Customer Service Manager called to assure me that everything was fine and that the "satisfied clients"I had request to speak to(because the had several BS testimonies on website) could not be given due to privacy issues....At that point I figured I was had!!!...These guys use a fake office space like "Regis" with one phone number that gets answered by a service and than you are either patched in or you get a callback after they contact someone from Luxury Capital Group....After I could not get any phone numbers of satisfied customers and not one person had a legitamate email address, I realized what an idiot I had been, I tried finding Beverly Waters(all use very common names) identity and there wasn't one to match her description)I am very tempted to hunt these scumbags down and getting my money back with giving them an asswhipping they deserve, but I guess I am always thinking there are good people out there but they are not only people looking to scam and hide!!
..........I was almost too embarassed to write this review but I really don't want anyone else getting ripped off like I did....wealthy people are not the victims here...it is desperate people that just want to get out from under debt or need finances to pay for things....please, please, please don't fall for this scam.....use your head and don't let your desperation and your heart send you down the wrong path....Today I decided to send them an email to see if things are just status quo....email returned, phone number was recording on "Ring Central" was not set up...get your own ring central number......gone!! Can't wait for the next timeshare phone call about buying my timeshare!!!
