I applied for a grant through Cosmetic Dentistry Grants Program, they contact me saying I was eligable for a grant and referred me to Dr. Schrieber’s office at DDS Debtal Group in New York City, I left my long time dental office in order to oblige the grant program, I was instructed I needed to complete some basic dental work inorder to recieve the grant so I had 2 teeth pulled in order to get braces (part of the basic dental work at my expense) I completed my basic dental work and got the OK to proceed with the cosmetic work which was Invisalign braces I was hesitant to start the braces installation becasue they had not told me the dollar amount of the grant award, I called and followed-up with Paula Velasco, Program Coordinator for 5 months after my basic dental work was completed she kept putting me off saying it takes 30 - 60 days to get the award amount than 60-90 days to find out the award amount than finally she told me the office they sent me to no longer is part of the program. I called the DDS office they told me that of all the clients they referred Not One of the Clients Ever Got an Award. So I left my long time dentist, had 2 wisdom teeth pulled went through pain and suffering, lost a day from work for nothing, although DDS was very sympathic to me they in fact told me their office felt they were a scam and that is why they they no longer are part of the grant program. I don't know if the grant program gets a kick back for referring patients to various dental offices but I suspect they are benefitting somehow.

I entered the "program" in May. My initial basic work needed to qualify for the $20,000 award was around $5000. I told the dental office i would have to decline participation, because i only had $3000 available. Amazingly, i received a new plan that could be done for $3000!. I did it, and in only a month i received the great news. I had been awarded $1800 towards my $20,000 treatment plan. All i had to do was pay the first $18.200, and the "grant" was mine! J. Roberts
What a rip off. I wasted $3000 bucks and feel so stupid for falling for this total scam. -

- This same thing happened to me!! This is a complete scam. I hope someone is reading this and you stay away. It is only a partial grant and they will only pay a very small amount. You have to come out of the pocket with about $15,000 at least. The dentist they chose for me did horrible work. Once you to talk to Paula Velasco 1 time you are never able to get in touch with her again. You have to pay your own money upfront to the dentist. I called and emailed Paula several times. The one time I talked to her she LIED. She told me that all of the cosmetic work would be taken care of by the grant and I just had to pay for teeth cleaning, etc. LIES!!
