unum fought disability claim. judge forced arbitration. the attorneys, mine and unum's capitulated on a number($). i forced my attorney to reduce some unnecessary expenses and ended up with more 50% of the amount. my attorney then went back to unum and got additional money to cover her "lost costs".
the arbitrator said he had never heard/seen anything like that .
not real sure of the dates but are close
