A representive of their store conducted a free semiar at the St Augustine YMCA to see if there products could help releive back pain. They sugusted a new pair of shoes and 3 pair of arch supports. They would not give me a cost but said Social Security would pay for all the items and if there was any left over amount due it would be very small. After a period of about 4 weeks they sent me an invoice showing a total charges of about $577 of which Social Security reimburst $400 and that there was a balance of $177. I called and ask them to check the amounts because it seemed very high for 1 pair of shoes and 3 pair of arch supports. They said there was no error and I needed to pay the $177 that Social Security did no cover, I told them that they were over charging and I was not going to be a part of it. I returned the the shoes and arch supports thinking the conflict had been resolved and was told Social Security would be reimbursted. In 2011 I applied for a mortage and there was a report of a collection agency claim for $177, if there was a claim filed against me I know there was never a Social Security reimburstment.
Please investigate the fraud!
