I had groupon for a while. I was not interested in any of the discounts as they didn't match anything I would buy. I guess I'm not the target audience. After a few months I unsubscribed without difficulty, and I stopped receiving the groupon emails.
Perhaps you have a virus that is pretending to be groupon? And, perhaps the virus writer is asking $50 to remove the virus? Malware people are tricky folks. -
