On searching my bank account, I found that the above company had taken £59.94 from account. I then went to my local branch (Natwest) and asked ofr their help, they rang their Visa Dispute team who said thay had this company under investigation, however, it was basically my fault for searching for a loan on line and giving out my details, I pointed out that this was besides the point, that I had money removed from my account without my consent, the bank stated that they could not help me.
I then rang your-money.tv who held with the banks line that I must have provided the details, and I had requested the service but they couldn't tell me when and that they had provided me with numerous emails and texts(which were of no use), after much argument and hearing the same arguments going on in the background, the operator did give me their Head Ofiice address:-
4200 THe watersid Cenrtre, Solihull Parkway, Birmingham Business Centre, Birmingham. B37 7YN and suggested I contact them for return of funds or cancellation of accounts.
I then contacted Consumer direct, who frankly weren't a lot of use. I then contacted Action Fraud who were great, they asked me to contact my bank and get a clear 'no we wont give you the money back', which I did and rerang Action fraud who then opened a case file(one of hundreds apparently).n They then suggested a call my bank again and tell them I know had a crime number. I did tis and am now waiting to hear back from the bank.

  • Hi Ali,well you have done a lot!You do not need a crime number from Action Fraud.The bank MUST PROVE it was authorised ,you have to do nothing,they have,about two weeks to put the money back in your account.See BOCBS,Financial Services Authority
