A man with a thick Est Indian or Jamaican accent, called to inform me that I had won a $985, 000 Sweepstakes Award. He left this message on my cell phone. He said it was a PCH winnings. I called back and had to leave a message. I will be posting several more of these complaints as I have been deluged with phone calls from these type of scammers. This one said his name was John Rowlands. When I returned the call, no one picked up and I had to leave a message.. He has yet to call back. All of these swepstakes scammers and Lottery scammers have a number which starts with 786. I was informed by a lawyer, that these are what they call "Moneyjack" phones. Moneyjack phones are cell phones purchased in bulk in Jamaica. And thr purchaser can punch any number he wants into it, and that is the number which shows up on your caller I.D. However, if they call you on your landline (home phone) and you have caller ID, it will identify as "Kingston, JM" which is a Jamaican ID.

They all require you to money gram, fees to Jamaica, Dominican Republic or whatever, to pay for Insurance, a Gold Government Seal, etc., Courier fees, IRS fees or whatever. I have not been duped out of any money from this one. I called PCH and was assured that they never require any "up front" fees.
