Back in January I saw this Veloura add claiming that it help anti-aging and wrinkle. I decided to order it for my wife to surprise her along with another product call Essence of Argan oil that was claiming that when you mix them together it would help your skin to look younger and maintain a healty look.

As far as I was concern all I was doing is order a free sample trial for the cost of only the shipping of 4.95$ for Veloura and 3.95$ for Argan oil...
After realizing that they ship me another Veloura without my concent or so I thought...After arguing many time on the phone first with the customer agent Mindy then the second call to Louis Jy, not sure if the spelling is right... and finally after I had enough of them being rude and unflexable and unwhilling to help me regarding my request for an RMA # you need that # to be able to return your product ortherwise you can't get refunded. They kept saying that because I did not cancel before the end of the free trial 14 days...that when you are on an automatic shippment you can not get 30 days or 60days money back guaranty. You have to pay up front for a pruduct in order to get your money back if you are not satisfied. So after they charge my credit card the shipping fee of 4.95$ they charge me 89.99$ after the 14 day free trial expired...but in reality it is not a 14 days trial because you will not receive the product on the same day. so it can be a 10 or 11 days trial or even less and how can you try a product if you can even use it at least for the minimum amount of days that they are claiming...especially when the trial start on the same day that you order it not the day you receive it??????? what the hell is this....I am so tired of all the scam online and false advertizing online. this must stop and they must be regulated in order to protect people who are not always internet smart and how many people read the term and policies anyway ....I can only imagine how may 100000's of thousand of innocent people got the same treatment...SO now I can not return the second Veloura product. I lost 171.22$ After speaking to the manager Emily agent #4147 and she told me the same thing that I ca not get refind on my trial product ..I said ok My bad I did not read the terms and policy for the free trial, and since Im on the automatic shipment payment plan...I can not get refund as well on the second Veloura pruduct they ship me...I mean the second one I should have the right to return it as it is not part of the free trial...they still charge me and ship me the product so why this second product is not refundable...This is a scam and this is the worst customer and return policies I have ever saw in my life. You go to the store and want to return a product with your receipt they will return it, you lost your receipt they will exchange it or maybe give you a in store credit at least. But with Veloura they are in business to make money lots of it and keep it at any cost...I can only imagine that if they do this to 100 000 people like me how much money this would mean to them...hmmmmmlets see 171.22 x 100 000 pepole= 17 122 000$ wow....SO no after realizing that I can not get my RMA # that would allow me to return the product at my own cost and get back what ever left over money after all my expenses, I just ask Emily if she cancel my automatic shipment to make sure they never send me anything else. She confirm that yes I will no longer get anything from them and not be charge anymore and she I can't remember exactly what I said but some how she gave me a 25% off what she call as a courtesy discount. so she refunded me 17.49$. Wow thank you....SO my credit card company says unless you can return the product to them and keep the rpoof of return from the post office,,, they can not help me. imagine that because I can not return the product i can get any help what so ever...SO I have no choice but to contact my local BBB...

  • Cancel your credit card or get your bank to give you a new one. The terms are printed on the Veloura web site. Call Veloura and tell them to stop sending the product, the call is being recorded, and you will not pay for anymore shipments from that date on. If they send anymore product after that date you are free to keep them without payment. But make sure you get a new credit card!

  • Also I ordered a trial of Veloura and Bellagenix on December 27th. On December 28th they allegedly shipped it and it only got to my door on January 10th (yesterday). When I opened the box there was a paper saying that the 14 days trial period would have started on the day I made the order. So basically that would mean that the cream was delivered to me on the day that the trial period would end!.. Absurd!!.. Any trial period refers to the time a person has to TRY the product... And I can only start trying something when I receive it. So the 14 days should have started yesterday, and not December 27th.

But it became obvious that this start date of the trial period, was intentional scam... Because they say that for you to cancel the re-billing of your card, you have to do it within the trial period. So basically I would have to cancel it before even trying it. Veeery convenient because, the cream obviously doesn't do what they claim it does!!..

Personally I couldn't care less about their scam because, I'm not that naive and this smelled (Inappropriate Content Removed)from the beginning and, because of that I didn't use a real credit card, but rather a virtual credit card that is only valid for one single transaction and for the amount limit I specify ($5.00 in this case). After that the number expires and there is no more card. The card actually works as debit card because it uses the available funds in my debit account. That account is currently empty, but even if it wasn't there would be no problem, since the card is virtual and has expired.

Having said that, I will now email them and phone them (in case they answer the phone), and will cancel everything. However I will tell them that 14 days of trial are 14 days from the date I RECEIVE the item. I will gladly return the empty bottle 13 days from now.

That's how you treat scammers in my book!
