Via the EZ Eyes website (https://getezeyes.com) I responded to the TV commercial for a keyboard for my mother. The offer was for 1 EZ Eyes keyboard at $14.95 + P&H and you could get a 2nd keyboard FREE and pay only the additional P&H. At the website I filled in my shipping and billing information but it did not automatically add the 2nd keyboard so I entered "2" in the quantity box myself. The site is set up so that you enter your shipping AND billing information before the total order is calculated. After entering my debit card information it calculated the total and the S&H is outrageous! My order totaled $61.70 for only 2 computer keyboards! This was not affordable for me so I DID NOT complete the transaction by submitting anything. I simply exited the website. This happened about 2 to 3 weeks ago (from today's date of 3/13/12). I assumed the transaction did not go through since I did not submit the order nor did I have any charged in the next day or two applied to my account. I was shocked to see 2 or 3 weeks later the $61.70 debit to my checking account from EZ Eyes for the keyboards. This is NOT an acceptable way to run a business. This unexpected transaction may very well cause my account to fall into a negative balance if the "pending" transaction posts before my next scheduled direct deposit!
