I didnt really lose any money just time. I was told that my total process should only take a couple of weeks but it took them a month to get my paperwork through and for me to get my modification. I did save $700 a month so I guess it was not all bad. Also I was able to get the 3 months I was behind deferred into the loan so I am not behind anymore. Hope this helps. Just beware it takes a little longer than they state it would.
