I found a job posting on craigslist for a receptionist position. This morning I received an email from "Kathy" saying their human resource manager would like to interview me before she goes on vacation next week. There was also a link to fill out a "pre-screening" which includes going to creditreport.com and signing up for their "free" trial with your credit card (after the 7-day trial you are charged $19.95). Also, there is absolutely no contact information on their website...it's "under construction", as I'm sure it probably always will be. I have read other complaints on here for the same company offering the same position in different states (I'm in Colorado, one was in Tennessee but the same position) and amazingly enough BOTH HR managers were going on vacation next week. They probably get money for referring people to creditreport.com. Makes it difficult to find a job when there are so many people trying to scam you!
