A woman came to the door claiming to be a student at UC Berkeley trying to earn a trip to Italy. She was selling magazines. The magazines are so expensive and I decided to just write a $20.00 donation. I wrote the amount but forgo to write the ampunt in words. The rep added a "1" before the 2 and wrote One hunded twenty dollars.
Wrote a check for $20.00 dollars and somehow they were able to modify the
check to read $120.00 .
