The ad online and TV ad says if you order one (1) of these headsets you'll get 4 free automatically. Keying through the order, you're invited to buy about 5 other products. I summarily ticked 'No Thanks' in each case. As you continue it causes you to confirm you're buying 1 "additional" which I changed to "No Thanks". Then it again confirms you're buying "1" pkg of headsets to which I agreed.

After you've put in your billing info, it goes immediately to the "thank you" page and gives you your order number.--It doesn't show your "basket" and what the itemized charges are. In the end, I should have been charged $17.95. The confirmation says I'm being charged $48.80. It doubled my order (8 headsets are en route) and the P&H (alone) charged is $31.80.

My bank says since it was confirmed there is no way to stop the actual charge. However, after it appears on my account I can call or go to the bank and file an Affadavit of Fraud which will reverse the charges.--They should appear back on my card w/in 10 days. I suggest everybody scammed by this does the same thing (using a Visa will probably help). In the end, I hope I get the product for free b/c these bastards have an unethical site. When I find their parent company's state, I'll also be filing a complaint with the B.B.B.

  • I forgot to mention that there is NO email or phone number on the site by which to find a way to cancel or alter the order. We had to cancel my card (so they don't re-submit a charge) and I should have my money back in about 10 days.

The headsets themselves are as cheap as other people have mentioned. You MUST fully-extend the holding arm first. Even after that, I'd be surprised if it lasts 2-3 months (in warm weather...in cold it would break sooner). The plastic is somewhat flexible but has no rubberization or other means of retaining a 'memory'. Hence, once it's bent to conform to the phone against your head, it's pretty much bent. The suction cup is no real big deal (as the ad makes it out to be) but seems adequate for this purpose.

Your best bet: don't waste your money. Somebody will come out with a better version of this with spring steel that will actually work and last.--And you won't be ripped off before you even get the product.
