I recently bought a DJ controller for my laptop, and it came with a limited edition of the Virtual DJ software. I decided to upgrade it for $99 to a pro level so I would have more functionality. After installing it, I was informed that the software would only work with my controller for 10 minutes, after which it became defective for all intents and purposes. I am REALLY angry that an upgraded version of the software would be LESS functional than the free version my controller came with. It feels like a bait-and-switch; the software comparison chart on their website did not indicate that ANY feature that the free version had would be disabled with the pro version installed. I would have to give them $200 MORE for an additional software upgrade to get back the functionality lost when "upgrading" the first time. I will be going to my credit union first thing tomorrow to try and have the charge halted before it can go through.
