  • I think they are calling them selfs HomeITbusiness now???

Got a call from a australian guy, Showed live demo of software that claims to predict out come for most probable success on lay beating...

    Felt like total scam....
They show one live demo only.... and i fugure with a race of 20 horses even using monkey laws you could predict 19/20 correct????

Then give them 25% of winnings and when you loss... most likely 1/20 times... you lose big time... and bare that lose om your shoulders...

    Its a smart scam though??
    They take $10000 upfront...
then further 25% of your winnings....
And when you do loss, and you will because there soft ware is balony... you take all lose on your shoulders...

I figure there ofer puts you in an even more likelyhod of lossing on your investment....

Firstly... it gambling... thats allready a lossing investment...
Then $10000 down stright of the bat!
then 25% wins goes to them?

Why not just go straight to beat-fair and keep $10000 in the pocket and 100% of winnings?

So yea looks like same scammer operating under new name....

  • Im in exactly the same situation as you Neil. Paid $10 000 upfront and paying them $99 weekly for the other $10 000 which is meant to be interest free also. My software has stopped working too. I just closed my account and am hoping nothing happens.

  • Hi Shane, Great idea to contact ACA or today tonight.

which company were you dealing with: was it www.HomeITbusiness.com or www.australianhbb.com or www.hbbaustralia.com ?

I am asking because this post starts with HBB and then mentions Home It Business, so I am not sure which company you were dealing with.

I rang the ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) and there seem to be a fair bit we can do to report this and lodge complaints. You can have a look at the pdf on the ACCC website that gives a fair bit of information here: http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/878568

  • ACCC asked me to file a report on them over the phone (but you can do it on their website too: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/content/index.phtml/tag/reportascam/ ).

They said the next step is to contact the Department of Fair trading of your state. For example if you are in Qld you can contact the department here: http://www.fairtrading.qld.gov.au/report-a-consumer-scam.htm

After ring the Asic they sent me a link with information on scams and what to do: https://www.moneysmart.gov.au/investing/investment-warnings/sports-betting-software?referrer=fido.gov.au%23What%20%20

  • ...(Sorry i have to do 3 different posts - this websites only allows for 2000 characters at a time)...

I hope this helps. I wish we could exchange telephone number, so we can exchange our experiences. But just don't know how to go about it since we can't post our phone publically on this website. Do you know a way?

On my side I am going to be quite pro-active to report them because, I am so upset to have lost so much money, you have no idea…

  • hey guys, I think these are the same guys that fooled me for $4,990 in february last year, they used to go by the name of HBT solutions in goldcoast/brisbane, then i found they were also called Altitude marketing, now HBB and also now Home It, how did everyone pay them? i paid via internet transfer, and received 2 notebooks with software already installed for lay betting and used Betfair, these guys need to be stopped, first i dealt with Mike, then changed to anthony and so on, its only 2 guys creating all these fraud scams etc and each time you try to get thru to them, they have some excuse time after time, i received $680 back from them via internet transfer and then software stopped working, and they blocked my emails does anyone have any phone numbers and email addresses for them? so we can all compare
