I saw the ad in a Mother Jones e-mail for a free sample of skin care products - just pay shipping and handling for a nominal amount. There was no mention of needing to cancel your subscription after two weeks. I didn't intend to subscribe to anything. When I called to complain they said they would "give me a deal for just $19.99 a month instead of the $79.99 and $74.99". They insisted that the rules were at the bottom of the page. Then when I tried to find the page to see these rules, the original page didn't exist any more. The bank said I'm stuck with the charges.
