On Nov. 18, 2011 Associated Accounting of Florida called me minutes after one of my credit card companies lowered my interest rate by 1%. They claimed that they could get all my credit card interest rates reduced top anywhere between 0% interest to 6% interest, so that I could pay them off in 5 years. They guaranteed that I would save at least $1200 interest on the my credit cards the first year or the $599 would be returned to me.

After a lengthy conversation with them I agreed to pay, a one time charge, which I have in writing, of $599 for Associated Accounting of Florida to negotiate lower interest rates on all my credit card accounts. They sent me some paperwork which I returned on Jan. 10, 2012.

A few days later I was contacted by Barb who said that she would schedule a telephone interview for Jan. 27, 2012, with an "advisor" named Tom. He called & gathered more information from me to use to "negotiate" with the companies. He said he would call the companies and call me back on Jan. 30, 2012 to let me know what kind of deals he could offer, and see if I wanted to accept the offer(s).

Jan. 30 came & went...no one called. I called about a week later and asked for Tom. I was told that Tom was out sick and may not return to work so a new advisor might be assigned. I asked if Barb could call me back, never got a call back. I called again around Feb. 20 to say that Tom was my advisor and I wanted to know what was going on with my account since he had not called me since January. I was told that Tom will not be returning to work and that Barb, who was the scheduler, would assign a new advisor.

On Feb. 29 I had to call them again because no advisor had called me. I was told that Barb would set up and appointment with another advisor. And that Barb would call me back in 45 mins. to an hour. she never called.

On Mar. 2, 2012 I called and asked to speak to a manager & was told that the Supervisor, Laura was on the phone, but would call me back in 45 mins. to an hour. She never called. during that weekend I discovered that Associated Accounting of Florida had debited my credit card account 5 times from Nov. to March for the $599...so called, one-time payment. That totaled $2,995!!!

Since no one from Associated Accounting of Florida would return my calls for almost 6 weeks, I called my credit card company on Mar. 5 and explained the situation. My credit card company tried to call Associated Accounting of Florida while I was on the line and no one answered the phone. I asked my credit card company to reverse all the charges, which after my detailed story, agreed.

I immediately tried to contact Associated Accounting of Florida again to ask what the heck were they doing by charging my account like that. Laura answered by asking me if I had a fax machine. I wanted to request that they discontinue my service and absolve me of all fees since they never, ever did a single thing for me. Their supervisor Laura was very rude and unprofessional and hung up on me no less than 3 times. Once stating that I was bad mouthing her, just because I identified her as one of the people who did not return my call on Mar. 2. She even asked me if I was lying about the $2,995 they debited from my credit card. I was so upset I threatened to file theft charge with the FBI. They could probably be liable for mail fraud among other things if they are investigated.

Laura kept trying to tell me what she wanted to do for me instead of answering the questions I was asking, when all I wanted was to sever all ties with them and get it all in writing, particularly that I did not owe them anything.
Laura finally agreed to that and said she was "happy" to sever all ties.

These guys are the worse company I have ever seen. Even if they are legit, they do not operate a business properly, or professionally.
