I went to Wells Fargo Bank in Anaheim Ca to close-out my saving account this morning.
They told me it will cost me $35 dollars to close my account.
I was totally dismay and to my surprise, they told me that was their policy will be closing fee of $35 for closing the account.
I disagreed and spoke to the branch manager, she waive this fee.
I'd like to confirm with you if this is right ? and can Wells Fargo do this to the public legally. ? and can, should we, as consumers, do anything to stop this ripped-off practice ? Thank you.
