Citizens Financial Group called and called until we talked to them and promised us a reduction in our mortgage and they would do all the paperwork and forward to our bank. They said to do this and it was a 100 percent guarantee, they would need 3750.00 and the reduction would be tremendous almost a 1000 less a mth than what we pay currently. We talked numerous times, checked their website and decided to pursue. We borrowed the money and had a letter sent to us from our mortgage holder that they could not reduce it. CFG said they would follow it and to give 30 days, so we did and now we can not get anyone to answer phone or emails and website gone.

- i feel so bad for you as i was scammed by citizens financial group out of phoenix,az. as well!! i also did my research and cannot believe they were allowed to scam people since last july!! how can this happen to struggling american homeowners?? how could they listen to our hardships knowing all along they were going to scam us ?? they "PRE-QUALIFIED" everyone just to steal our money that most of us had to borrow or take out of re-tirement to hopefully get a break!! OBAMA needs to know they used our president's name to entice us to a loan modification! i have filed several complaints and will take it to the white house if i have to!! these thieves must be held accountable!!
