On or about January 4, 2012 I was contacted via email by an agent of Winners Circle Lottery & Sweepstakes Ltd. In their original offering they stated that I had win $7.5 million and it could be mine for $825.00 Over the course of the next 2 months each time that I would pay whatever "Additional Fee" that was required and then they would send out my winnings, they came up with a new previously unknown Fee. For example after paying the initial $825, which was actually over $900 with fees added in, they claimed that their guys were at the local airport and that a Customs Stamp was required in order to release the funds. That stamp would cost a total of $7500 but I only needed to pay 1850. After paying the 1,850(2,000) they came back and said that there had been a miscommunication and that the amount I owed was in actuality $3,750 not $1,800. Of course they also said once that was done that my check would be sent out right away. After the additional funds were arranged they once again came back and said that another $200 was now needed because the check.stamps had expired. That gets paid, Now there is the matter of an Insurance Policy that is to be created by another company called Astron Financial Services. In the original documentation and up until that point the agent for Winners Circle maintained that it was their responsibility to pay the $27,000 premium for this Insurance Policy, when the time actuallyt came to address it a;ll of a sudden I have a share that I had to pay to the tine of >$1,000. Despite all attempts to have Winners Circle pay and my repay I wound up paying the Premium. Once again the timeline is once the insurance certificate had been issued then I could expect my check within 48 hrs.
Naturally after 24 hrs they come back once again this time blaming the Bank manager who is requiring some other kind of stamps at a total cost of $7,500 of which my cost would be $750. These funds needed to be paid via a reloadable Green Dot Card. Fortunately/Unfortunately for me that these cards can only be purchased with cash and at a max of $500/day. I attempted to reach the agent at winners circle for alternatives with no response. At this point I finally decided to give it up and admit that my original thoughts were correct this is a scam and there is no winning check.
