False radio advertising for "$2,000 of groceries in exchange for participating in a study as part of an economic stimulus pacakge." I called the customer service number that they gave me after I submitted my card information and paid a $19.95 after the same misleading information was given to me. I found out later by calling the customer service number and through additional internet research that it was a coupon company.

In addition, I got other charges to things I did not sign up for on my card. I specifically told the agent that I only wanted the $2,000 in grocery vouchers, that's it!

Furthermore, I have telemarketers calling my cell phone immediately after I hung up with this company (starting at 10:30pm eastern time).

I tried calling them and getting money back + the other charges dropped. I also complained of false advertising. People just pointed me to other departments. No one solved the issue.

I now tell the telemarketers to put me on a "do not call list." I called my bank and cancelled my card, but I was told they can still charge my new card through any agreement with Visa, so this does not help. I am still in the process of calling the right departments to clear it up.

I just made a complaint with the better business bureau. Hope it helps. This is a sad scheme that targets people in a failing economy under the disguise of an economic stimulus package. The people who are calling for this most likely are having trouble affording groceries as it is. Now they are finding themselves with extra charges on their account, telemarketers, and additional pressure.

If you've gotten involved, get out. If you have heard the advertising, don't do it!
