I went to the dating site Militarycupid.com to join as a civilian to meet men in the military. At the end of the subscriber application the site asks for the subscriber to upload a passport, ID, or Drivers License to verify that they are not scammers. I uploaded my Drivers License, photos and other information and the site has not allowed me access. When I make attempts to log on, there is a message that the account has been suspended or permanantly deactivated and cannot be reactivated. I contacted their customer service team online, and also did a live chat (which now cannot be found), and I was told that the account has been reactivated. I then tried to access the account again and the same message appears. So I made an attempt to open another account thinking that something other than a SCAM was taking place. I entered the same information, but with a different email address. Still I get the same messages ... that the account has been suspended and/or permanantly deactivated and cannot be reactivated. These people have photos of me, an uploaded copy of my drivers license and other information. I made an attempt to look for an 800 number and to my surprise all of the numbers listed to contact customer service are over seas. This site is a SCAM and should be shut down and charges should be filed.

Hi resourceful_1. It seems your profile was switched off by our Fraud Prevention system in error. As your second profile contained the same information, this was switched off as well - just as an added safety measure to keep MilitaryCupid.com safe.
Based on the information you have provided us, your profile has been reactivated and our customer service team have sent you an email with details. We are deeply apologetic for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
We assure we are not a scam site. MilitaryCupid is an international military dating site run by Cupid Media, an Australian company that has been business for over 10 years and operates a network of over 30 different dating websites. As we are based in Australia, the phone numbers are naturally overseas numbers. We do not have an 800 number as we are not in the US but we do provide our Australian office phone number should you need to contact us. If you need any further assistance with this, please contact our customer service team via [email protected] or [email protected].
Thank you. -
