In July of 2011, I purchased just under $50 worth of merchandise from UltraMagnetic Tees. After waiting for over one month, I attempted to get in touch with the proprietor of UltraMagnetic Tees. Some cursory online searching led me to him: Mr. Robert Baptista III, entrepreneur, resident of Rhode Island, and author/editor at silverscreenandroll.com.

Copious phone calls, emails, and Facebook messages went unanswered by Mr. Baptista

In the midst of my attempts at contact, UltraMagneticTees.com was taken offline, presumably by Mr. Baptista. In spite of this, I managed to uncover an old phone number of Mr. Baptista's. When I called, I spoke to an older female; it was clear that she knew Mr. Baptista. When I informed her of the situation, she assured me that Mr. Baptista would be in touch and would resolve the issue. Within a few hours, I received an apologetic email from Robert Baptista III, who told me he would ship my items shortly.

Time passed, no items arrived, and no refund was issued. We exchanged further emails. I was again assured that my order was soon to be shipped.

Months passed. I went on vacation for Christmas. I returned home. I did not contact Mr. Baptista again until I happened to notice that he brought UltraMagneticTees.com back online. In early February of 2012, I emailed him my original invoice number and informed him that I would be taking further action if he did not fill the order. Again, he assured me that UltraMagnetic Tees was "starting back up" and my order would be filled the next day. He also offered me a few extra items to make up for the inconvenience.

After another few weeks with no communication from Mr. Baptista, I resolved to take my further action, and began the preparations for my website: wondahshop.com, a gripe site about ultramagnetictees.com/Robert Baptista III

I advise people to use caution when doing business with Robert Baptista III.
