A young woman showed up at our door in August of 2011 selling magazines claiming that the money was going to children to help them pay for camp. I should have known that something was wrong when she started asking questions like my age and occupation. I love kids and we live in a community that has many needy families and I wanted to help. Against my better judgement I ordered a magazine for my husband. A few months went by and I had forgotten about my order until I found the receipt. I tried to contact the company via email and have not gotten a response yet. So today I decided to try again. I keep getting a message that says the website could not be found. I even tried calling information to get a phone number and was told that no such company could be found. After this experience I will not buy from anyone selling door to door even if it is someone from the area.
