I have subscribed at HP website to get the informatoin on latest deals. I recieved an email from HP saying President Day Sales on 16th Feb 2012 to my email id. I clicked on the link they provided in the email, it took me to HP website and selected the HP Pavilion dv7t Quad Edition series 17" with i7 processor laptop. I placed the order for $749.99 plus connecticut tax. I paied through my debit card. after entering all details at thier website and confirming the order, i got the message saying your order has been diclined. and money is got deducted from my account. I called immediatly to customer care center, the fisrt representative said that he have no idea about that and he said the he will raised the ticket and given me the refence id. I called up to customer care again on February 18, 2012, I spoke to HP representative by name Jerry, she said that there is a mistake on their website and we cannot offer a price mentioned on the website and you would not get the laptop for the price which i placed the order, then i said that if you cannot send the laptop for the price which mentioned in your website then please revert the amount which is deducted from my account....I am following up with them from 3 days... they refuse to send the laptop for the price which they offered on website and they have not reverted my money back...HP has playing with the customer and they are insulting President Day. they publish offers on their website and once we place the order they refuse to honor it.
this is cheating and big insult to President day here.
My request to HP laptop department please do not this.

    I am sorry for your frustrating experience with HP. I am a consumer false advertising attorney who is currently investigating HP's deceptive practices.
