Harvy Martin places ads on Craigslist for Autobody/Paint, takes 1/2 deposit, and does not paint/fix your car/boat. He will not return the money, either. To date, he has scammed over 12k, and the police are unwilling to do anything but suggest small claims court. I have a judgement against him, but doubt I will ge the money back.

The amount lost was $2,900.00, not $1,900.00
