Complaint 75903 Details

I received a call from ez finance in Los Angeles number 323 900 0031 ext 101, contact Sam Williams. He stated that I was preapproved for a loan for up to 10,000 but all I had to do was go to western union and pay 348.00 for the finance charge but he would send that back to me with the 5,000 that I said I wanted to borrow. He even asked me to call him when I got to western union so he could tell me where to send the money. After getting to western union they stated that all I could receive was 2,000 I called sam and he said that he would send the 2,000 but only no send him 148.00. I sent the 148.00 and I waited like he said and after 30 minutes I still did not receive my money. I called and they said he was busy but he would call me back. He calledback and said there was a problem with western union and that he would need my bank info in order to send me the money. I was already home and Idecided to look up the company. Then I came accross this site. I called him back and told him to sendmy money back to me asap. He sid ther was no way for him to do it. I would need to give my checking account number and they would send me back 100.00 dollars but the other 48.00 would be charged to me for a finance charge. Of course I told him that what he was doing was a scam and that I would report him to every agency that I can think of. I have the documentation from western union but I d not have a scanner to upload it. If there are more people out ther I would like to know how they are getting our numbers. I am ging to contact the better bussiness burueo as well as anyone that will listen. This is just rediculious.
They also have a company that calls and says that if you are looking for a car loan they can finance you. This time they call from a unavailable number but the scam is the same. i listened to their speech and asked if they had a Sam or hrry working for them and they said yes but they were busy writing up other loans. Once again to get started all I needed to do was go down and pay a finance fee upfront and they would preapprove me for 30,000 for a new or used car.
WOW I hope people read this and don't do any of the things that I did. Word to the wise..if it sounds to good to be true it probably is!
