I signed up to a free trial of face cream and only paid the postage for the two products approximating to £6.00
Since then my account has been debited for
£19.97 on the 2.8.12
£60.02 on the 2.9.12
£74.97 on the 2.16.12
£51.00 on the 2.16.12

What they have so cleverly done is take the monies as under two separate company names.
the company I did the initial trial with was Riviterderm or perfect radiance as they are also known

But they have debited my account under the name of Creamcareskin.com

I am posting this so that all unsuspecting online customers to be alert to this scam.

They say it’s a 30 day trial in the adverts which are misleading about a money back guarantee. Whilst in fact the small print say the trial has to be cancelled within 12 days

The banks will not stop the debit or credit card payments due to a technicality or legal clause which seems to make it perfectly legal for them to do this
On calling the help desk or so called customer helpdesk. You are rerouted to a helpline in the Philippines or somewhere in south east Asia

They refuse to give out their surnames and I’m sure they are giving false names also

They had taken four separate payments . All the while I only had the free samples. of which they had already debited me for.

Research online suggested reporting your debit or credit card stolen would halt them from taking further illegal payments. but I found this to be false when I queried this with my bank.
I will do it anyway.

However my advice is
1, Do not do this trial as there are many hidden costs which if you do not take care will tie you into an agreement that you do not want. for a product that is essentially rubbish
2. If you have already taken up thus trial then cancel it immediately
3. Make as much noise as possible . Tell everyone you know so that these scammers do not continue to make money from unsuspecting women like us in future.

It is difficult to think that I could have been galled by they faceless, shameless crooks
But if I can just help one person in avoiding the same pitfalls I have. Then this hard lesson I've learnt would not have been in vain.

Lastly please not it is important to keep records of any letter email and phone calls sent. as proof to you bank or credit card company. the more information they have the better they will be able to aid you

Regards
L. O
