I met a man named Michael on Match.com in October 2011 who claimed to be a gem broker from Aurora Colorado. He said his wife was deceased and led me down a slow path for about a month, but was very possessive and controlling (demanded we speak morning and evening) and it made me uncomfortable because we had not even met. I asked him not to contact me again. Skip to January 2012, a man claiming to have emailed with me outside of Chemistry.com contacted me. I give very few people my private email so I think this could have been ligit. This guy named Michael Davis claimed to be a diamond broker and member of the diamond trust company said he purchases his diamonds from Ghana, etc. It turns out this is the same guy, with different pictures and a slightly different story. He leveraged the information from our first encounter in October to know exactly what I wanted in a relationship which made him particularly charming. He led me down a path for a month again, every time we were going to meet a business deal came up in Dallas TX that he had to urgently take of and attend to. When he finally told me his full name was Michael Davis and I googled his name and found that he has been running a scam on women. I did not get taken for any money. Thank you women who reported him and watch out for him ladies
