I received a text alert that charge of $59.95 to my debit card was made by this company, there was no phone number or other contact information. I did a Google search for the company name and found nothing but consumer complaints about what a scam this is. I feel I was scammed too! I called the only phone number I could find for them after doing an onliine search. The woman that answered didn't identify herself or the company name, just said "Customer service..." I gave my name and told her of the charge that was just made. She went on to tell me that I had verbally agreed to the charges for magazine subscriptions. I have never received any magazines PERIOD! I told her if I was being held by a recorded verbal contract, I should have received a formal written contract stating everything I agreed to. She claimed that it had beeen sent to me, but again I received nothing. She said she had proof from thhe post office that I did receive it. I assured that nothing was ever received on my part. The only thing I can recall about this situation was someone calling me saying that I was being awarded a 2 year subscription to several different magazines for being a valued customer and I would also receive a diamond watch. They did ask to record my statements if I agreed to them or not, the person rattled off a bunch of garbage so fast that I couldn't understand any of it. I was asked if I agreed or not and all I could say was "Uh-huh" or "ok". Needless to say I still haven't received one single thing from these people. I know my right as a consumer I should have received everything I agreed to in writing within 3 business days and have the right to cancel within 3 days. I was never presented with any of this. The conversation ended with me saying that obviously from the attitude I was getting from her that this matter wasn't going to get resolved and that I will have to take this up with the BBB and Attorney General. All she said was "that's fine" then hung up. To resolve this, I am seeking a full refund of the 59.95 as well as cancel any "subscriptions" and never contact me again.
