I received an phone call from avasinforteck.pty.com who convinced me (stupid me) to look after my computer for $199 for2 years.I let them onto my computer (stupid) and they did clean it up and did a defragmentation and the computer did function better. Then they said that they for $299 they would look after my computer for 5 years even if I got a new computer. The guy "Ricky" that I spoke to was smooth! He said that they would reimburse me the $199 as they were having some trouble with PayPal who I paid them through. My reimbursement never came and I sent them numerous email to Ganesh Ram [email protected]. I actually received responses making all sorts of excuses. I sent several emails at that address which never once bounced! I stopped getting replies.I contacted Avvasinfoteck.pty.com to let them know about some scammers using their slightly altered website to scam people and see if they could do anything or were interested at all. I have had no reply as yet. I don't think I can do anything about this situation but I did send them some fairly nasty emails! I'm 69 years old and grew up in a small logging town in Oregon and grew up trusting people;but never again. Looking back it was a very stupid thing to do and I feel ashamed for what I did. I wished 'Ricky" a slow and painful death!! Also abused Ganesh Ram (apparently a very common name!). If there is anything that I can possibly do without paying more money it would be nice but I realize one doesn't get something for nothing now days!
